The Adirondack Living History Association (TALHAI) is a dedicated group of individuals focused on explaining history across various timeframes, from the French and Indian War through WWII, with a particular emphasis on the Civil War.
Our Primary Mission Our mission is to preserve, interpret, and share history through accurate living history and reenactment programs. We are dedicated to honoring the people, events, and everyday experiences of the past through research-driven portrayals, educational outreach, and immersive public demonstrations. By bringing history to life, we strive to foster understanding, respect, and meaningful connections between modern audiences and the generations who came before us.
Activities and Programs To illustrate our purpose, we maintain an active annual schedule that features numerous education days for children.
